  • The discovery process illuminates potential opportunities and opens up dialogue with potential partners without the risk of a long term commitment. Clients benefit from learning about the variety of affiliation opportunities available to the nonprofit sector and strengthening relationships with other participants, whether or not they choose to pursue the next step in the process. This is beneficial for organizations who have already identified potential partners or those simply needing to disrupt the status quo so something new can emerge.

  • Every project is unique. Deliverables can include:

    • Individual conversations with leadership, typically the CEO/Executive Directors and/or board chairs

    • Joint education session on the benefits of different collaboration models, ways to codify the collaboration (MOUs, MSOs, contracts, etc.), with relevant examples of organizations who have successfully navigated formal collaboration.

    • A joint debrief conversation about recommendations and next steps.

  • $3,500

    *A note on fees: The Kate Harris Group provides estimates on the basis of whole-project value. We do not provide hourly reports or invoice based on an hourly rate, although we will adjust the scope if both parties agree upon changes to activities or deliverables. Typically our invoicing schedule is to bill in even monthly installments to fulfill payment. We are flexible if your team prefers a different payment schedule. Travel costs or other ancillary expenses are billed separately when applicable and upon mutual agreement.
