Overview

The discovery process illuminates potential opportunities available in the nonprofit sector and opens up dialogue with potential partners. This is beneficial for organizations who have already identified potential partners or those simply needing to disrupt the status quo so something new can emerge.

What you get

Every project is unique. Deliverables can include:

• An initial assessment of your collaboration readiness

• Joint education session on the benefits of different collaboration models, ways to codify the collaboration (MOUs, MSOs, contracts, etc.).

• An understanding of what collaborative structures best fit your mission and values

• A "go/no-go" decision-making framework about whether or not to invest more time and resources in pursuing the next step 

What we do

• Survey and interview organizational leadership

• Review high level data and documentation

• Facilitate a learning and sense-making session on the role of collaboration specific to your organization.

Fees

$2,500 - $4,500 sliding scale based on organization size/complexity

*A note on fees: The Kate Harris Group provides estimates on the basis of whole-project value. We do not provide hourly reports or invoice based on an hourly rate, although we will adjust the scope if both parties agree upon changes to activities or deliverables. Typically our invoicing schedule is to bill in even monthly installments to fulfill payment. We are flexible if your team prefers a different payment schedule. Travel costs or other ancillary expenses are billed separately when applicable and upon mutual agreement.
